For Melco, City of Dreams appears to be a viable project given these initial findings for the temporary casino. This project has an estimated cost of $ 648 million. The complex will house 500 rooms, eleven restaurants and a play area of over 6500 m². It will also host 136 gaming tables and 1,200 slot machines. As regards the management of these resorts, it will be entrusted to a subsidiary group of Melco International Development. In addition to this complex, the parent company plans to install small play areas in other communities such as Ayia Napa, Larnaca, Paphos and Nicosia.
As regards the duration of the operation, the Melco group has obtained a 30-year operating license from the Cypriot gaming authorities.
